About the Client

Flipkart’s Big Billion Days (BBD) is India’s biggest eCommerce moment, a high-stakes battlefield where every brand fights for visibility, conversion, and market share.For our footwear brand partner, this BBD was about turning last year’s learnings into a structured, scalable, and ROI-led success story.

Background

The challenge with BBD is universal, everyone spends big, but not everyone scales smart. We entered this season with one mission: Sell big. Spend smart. Learning from past data, we aligned marketing, media, and inventory in perfect sync. Our foundation: early discovery, structured media setups, and data-backed optimization to ride the BBD wave efficiently.

Objective

Maximize conversions and revenue during BBD while maintaining ROI benchmarks, through structured campaign execution, creative innovation, and agile optimization.

Our Approach

  1. Campaigns went live a week early to drive wishlist adds and early cart builds, setting the stage for Day 1 conversions.

  1. Products were divided by gender, price, and utility, Sports, Casual, Women’s, and Slippers, ensuring focused targeting and efficient budget use.

  1. Nomenclature, objectives, and ad structures were standardized across FSN levels for better visibility and control.

  1. PLA campaigns were split across manual and keyword targeting (Brand, Generic, Competitor) to capture both intent and discovery.
  2. PCA campaigns used Rich Banners, Interactive Ads, and Video Ads for immersive visibility, supported by Spotlight inventory during launch days.

  1. Enabled ad-level tracking to measure creative performance more accurately.
  2. Campaigns went live at 11:30 PM, catching high-intent traffic pre-midnight. Additional bids were placed during high-conversion windows (12–2 PM & 8–11 PM).
